Wheels of Hope Car Show –
benefitting the Hope Clinic of Garland
I would like to sincerely thank all the participants in this year’s 8th Annual Wheels of Hope Car Show. We had 160+ cars who were able to take advantage of the perfect weather and experience the newly re-modeled downtown Garland square. The feedback we received was very positive. My thanks to Dana Cooper, WOH Coordinator, Gary Proffitt and all the judges, Terri Overall, Jaci Welch and Kathy Miller for working the registration desk, and Martin Glen, Mike Cantrell, Mike Cooper at the barricades and our two photographers, Russ Dignam and Tony Guerry. Scott Coy was our MC and did a great job of keeping the events moving. Thanks to the Chaz Marie band and all student performers from GISD. We are never short on talent. The City of Garland was once again our MVP and helped us pull off an event that is hard to match at other car show venues. Special thanks to the Rob Miller Band for the Friday night show and the crowd for donating generously to the Hope Clinic.
